Melinda "Mindi" L. Stone MSN, RN, FNP-BC
Mindi attended Norfolk State University, Jacksonville University, and Walden University, where she obtained her Master of Science, FNP degree in 2020 and is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Mindi has nearly 2 decades of nursing experience, where she found her passion in the Emergency Department as the charge nurse in trauma and disaster management. She went on to earn an instructorship and team leader with FEMA/CDP Hospital Emergency Task Force. In Alaska, she was awarded a grant and started the first mobile forensic/SANE program with President Obama's assistance. For her drive, she is a highly awarded nurse, as she dedicates herself to work as an advocate for her patients, developing treatment plans and preventative care. Mindi has a friendly bedside manner while providing competent nursing care and fulfilling the needs of patients without judgment but encouragement. Her free time is spent with her two accomplished adult children, Alexavier USAF Japan and Korina, champion equestrian and businesswoman, along with friends enjoying cooking and leisure activities.
